Shipping charges are based on actual UPS or USPS rates.

Factors include the weight, size of your package, and destination.

Origin:  Philadelphia, PA

Your order should arrive in 3-7 business days depending on your location. Please allow extra time for holidays and inclement weather.

Below are the approximate number of business days it takes to ship once your order is processed.

In general, retail shipments are sent USPS and wholesale orders by UPS.

Occasionally the actual shipping cost may be slightly more or less than actual amount by 20-30 cents.  This occurs because of minor variances in the box and packaging materials themselves.

We do not "make money" from shipping charges. We charge only the actual costs.

Some companies charge shipping by the "dollar amount" ordered. By contrast, we believe the fairest method is charging based on actual cost of shipping.

If ordering online, shipping charges can be viewed once you enter your selection of products and shipping destination. You will see your total charges including shipping before you finalize your purchase.

We recognize the cost of shipping and handling may become a large segment of your purchase, so you must ask, "Is it worth it for me?"

Like so many things in life, the answer is, "it depends."

If you live around the corner from a coffee shop in Long Island that sells Awesome Almonds®, it doesn't make a lot of sense to spend over $10.00 to have them shipped to you.

We encourage people to visit and shop from the fine merchants who carry our products. This is the life-blood of our company. If there's ever a consideration between ordering online or visiting an actual store, please shop from the store!

If on the other hand you live in Chino Hills, CA and would like buy a Mega-sampler as a house warming gift, you might be initially stunned that the shipping and handling charges will be $14.35. You get disgusted and look for the closest store and find out it's the Cloud County Tea Company in Clyde, Kansas.

You're a sharp cookie and know how to find maps online. You calculate that it's 1653 miles and will take (approximately) 25 hours to drive there (obeying the speed limit, of course).

You really want to get your friend Cindy these Awesome Almonds® because there's really nothing like it nearby but you realize driving over 3000 miles, even for a good friend like Cindy, is somewhat out of the question, not to mention where do you find an extra 50 hours in your crazy schedule?

So now, is it worth $14 for the convenience of having someone send the Awesome Almonds® to you (or even directly to Cindy with a gift note)?


APO/FPO Orders  Top

We proudly ship to APO and FPO addresses. Whether civilian or military, you are serving our country.    

All packages must be sent via the U.S. Postal System.

• The post office requires companies to hand deliver packages being sent to APO/FPO addresses. (This is one reason why many merchants won't ship to APO/FPO addresses.)
• Shipments to APO FPO addresses also require some additional customs paperwork to be filled out by the shipper.  Our job is to serve is to serve you.  We'll take care of it.

Postage charges are calculated to your APO or FPO address. You should already know the "equivalent" CONUS locations are:

• AE  New York, NY
• AP San Francisco, CA
• AA Miami, FL
