There is NO caffeine in plain almonds. Walnuts, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, pecans, pistachios, and cashews do not contain caffeine either. The only nut that contains caffeine is the kola nut used to make cola beverages.

Our Awesome Almonds® flavor, “Cocoa-Java” has caffeine because it is made with real coffee and cocoa that contain naturally occurring caffeine.

Our other flavors, Cinnamon-Vanilla and Orange-Vanilla are caffeine-free.

Caffeine can show up in many places besides coffee and tea. Certain carbonated beverages (including “non-colas”) are sometimes caffeinated. For example certain diet cream sodas have caffeine. Chocolate contains caffeine, but only about 25% as much as brewed coffee per serving. A lot of the new “energy” drinks have substantial amounts of caffeine. Check the ingredient labels.

If you need to cut down on your caffeine, please do so gradually as suddenly stopping all caffeine can result in a caffeine “withdrawal” headache. Heavy coffee drinkers sometimes experience this just by sleeping in late (thus missing their normal coffee dose).
Ground almonds are actually used as a caffeine-free coffee substitute in some cultures. Check out Inside Persia: Almond Folklore and Facts
